Vacancies are now available within our decontamination room team at our busy Specialist Dental Practice in Cambridge. The main role will be at Queen Edith's Way (just opposite the main Addenbrookes site) but occasional cover may be required at our satellite practice at Copley Hill Business Park near Babraham.
We are seeking highly enthusiastic and well motivated individuals as the work demands a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Full on site training for this role will be provided. Although no previous experience is required, applicants should have a dental or medical interest with an emphasis on working as part of a large team.

Hourly rate from £10.50
Saturday work - will be required

Duties to include:
Joint responsibility for the day to day running of the decontamination room with your other colleagues
Maintain and decontaminate dental equipment in accordance with manufacturers' instructions and your training
Running weekly tests in accordance with HTM01-05/CQC guidelines
Following practice policies and procedures for infection prevention and control and report any issues to the lead Decontamination Lead Nurse or Clinical Lead Nurse
Segregate waste in accordance with practice procedures and ensure of its safe disposal
Monitor and maintain stock levels
Report equipment failures or breakages
Maintain and promote patient confidentiality
Perform other administration duties as required for this position
Attend practice annual training including medical emergencies and CPR and keep up to date with your own personal development training.
Essential skills required:
Positive attitude and personality
Good written and spoken English
GCSE English Grade C/ 4 or equivalent preferred
GCSE Maths Grade C/ 4 or equivalent preferred
Basic computer literacy with Microsoft Windows, Office and Outlook
Ability to remain calm and professional
Transport is desirable as you may be required over two bases
